Practice at The Hectic House The Zoo

March/April 1983. All that is written on the cassette sleeve for this recording is, "Top Ramen Days - We Scarfed Chips And Played". The cassette label itself indicates that this practice was at "Pete's place", meaning it most probably was at The Hectic House on East 1st Ave in Chico. The band most probably met up to eat free chips and salsa at La Comida on Mangrove Ave (a common meal for this very broke band in those days), then picked up a few $3 12-packs on the way to the Hectic House to rehearse.

UPDATE 7/9/12: Mike has clarified that this was not recorded at the East 1st Ave House, but at Pete's apartment in Fifth Street Manor, a.k.a. The Zoo.

Warning: this is a recording for the hard-core fan who remembers the early days of the band, times when we weren't always in tune or quite playing together.... I've included many of the false starts, for historical purposes, but have removed some of the dead air. yes, there was even more then what's here. :)
